Short, because this website collects almost nothing. The practice application is a separate matter and is covered below.
Who is responsible
The controller for the data described here is {{COMPANY_NAME}}, {{COMPANY_ADDRESS}}, company number {{COMPANY_NUMBER}}. Write to contact@xolotl.vet for anything on this page.
What this website collects on its own
Nothing. There is no analytics, there are no cookies, and no request leaves this page to a third party. The fonts are served from this domain rather than a font CDN, the icons are inlined into the HTML, and there is no tag manager, no pixel and no session recorder.
That is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly, and it is checkable: open the network tab and count the hosts. There is one.
What the demo form sends
Only when you fill it in and submit it, and only these fields:
- Your name and work email address, so we can reply
- Your practice name and phone number, if you choose to give them
- Whatever you write in the message field
Why, and for how long
We use it to answer your request and arrange a demonstration. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry.
We keep enquiries for two years from the last contact, then delete them. We do not sell them, we do not share them with anyone outside {{COMPANY_NAME}}, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a demo.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard web server logs — IP address, the page requested, the time, the browser's user agent — as every web server does. They are kept briefly for security and troubleshooting and are not used to build a profile of you.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of what we hold about you
- correct it if it is wrong
- delete it
- stop using it, or restrict how we use it
- send it to you or to someone else in a portable form
How to exercise them
Write to contact@xolotl.vet. We answer within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels.
Changes
If this page changes materially we will say so here rather than quietly re-dating it. Last updated 8 August 2026.
