What Fuga is

Sonetas has been building veterinary software for around fifteen years and Fuga is used by roughly 1,200 practices across the Benelux, with expansion into France. It is a mature, broad suite with an ecosystem around it: a pet-owner app, an imaging product and accounting connectors, plus lab and supplier integrations built up over a long time.

If you want the safest, most widely deployed choice in this market, that is a legitimate reason to pick Fuga and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

How the two price lists are shaped

Fuga's published list is built per head and per module: a tapering price per veterinarian, a separate line for assistants and reception, and add-ons — imaging, the accounting export, the pet-owner app — each carrying its own monthly price. Ours is one line: 79 EUR per month for the first veterinarian, 59 EUR each from two to five, 39 EUR from six, capped at 390 EUR per site, with assistants, reception and students free and imaging, Peppol and accounting exports inside the price.

Where the totals actually cross

Fuga is cheaper per additional veterinarian; Xolotl is cheaper per additional everyone-else. Which one wins depends entirely on the shape of your team and how many add-ons you switch on.

A large, vet-heavy group with no interest in imaging or accounting exports will do well on Fuga's tapering vet price. A staff-dense clinic — nurses, receptionists, students — that wants imaging and a ledger export finds most of the difference sits in the add-on lines rather than the vet lines. Run your own numbers on both; we will happily do the arithmetic with you on a call and tell you if you come out ahead staying where you are.

• You are a large vet-heavy group where their tapering per-vet price beats ours outright
